How Much Time Have You Spent in the Kitchen this Last Year?

We will bet it is a LOT! The kitchen has been the hub of many activities during the pandemic. Now you may be thinking it is time for a remodel in your Dallas area kitchen. One of the easiest ways to boost the value of any home is a kitchen remodel however, what exactly does that entail and what should one expect to have happen?

Here are just some of the steps that must be taken –

1.  Demolish the old to make room for the new

2.  Do the rough-in framing

3.  Finish the walls

4.  Bring in the new cabinets, fixtures, and appliances

5.  Install new flooring

This may sound like a lot of work and that is only the half of it! Remodeling your kitchen has benefits far beyond the convenience of having a more enjoyable experience there. Should you not have a kitchen remodeling professional in Dallas do the job? For that, we recommend Home Pro Contracting. Visit their website at homeprocontracting.com. Now, that you are ready for that new kitchen call (214) 886-3326 and relax.

Zaaap!

Not everyone feels comfortable working with electricity…nor should you!  Using common sense helps. You decide whether you should consider this a DIY job or you should hire a professional who has worked with electricity many times prior. You will need a voltage tester and uninhibited access to the housebreaker for starters.

In newer homes around the Dallas area, a third wire will probably be coiled around a blue screw on the original switch. This wire is known as the ground wire, and it will need to be reattached to the new switch. If you own an older home in the Metroplex, the ground wire may NOT be available to reconnect.

All of this means that 'zap' is a very possible outcome! Not appealing sounding? How about calling the ultimate handyman electricians? That is Home Pro Contractors of Dallas. Now they know their way around a fixture or light switch. You won’t believe all that Home Pro Contractors do. Just google homeprocontracting.com. Their 24 hour number is (214) 886-3326.
