Hiring a Professional Painter.

Yes, your honor, we are here in divorce court today because my spouse and I decided to paint the interior walls of our home.  It may be a joke, but how often has a “simple” painting project resulted in a major row?  Painting your home’s rooms may seem easy on the surface, but you will probably never get the look of a professional.

Here are some reasons to hire a professional painter –

1.  The quality of the finished process
2.  Time…consider prep time, clean up time, etc.
3.  Pros have this job down to a science
4.  Knowing the right tools for the job
5.  A licensed professional painter will do the job right…guaranteed

Now, we are talking about something very important!  You need to be sure that you have hired a licensed painter who routinely serves the entire Dallas area.  That is the purview of Home Pro Services.  Wherever you are in the Dallas area wintertime is a great time to repaint.  Just call Home Pro Services at (214) 886-3326, or in West Texas that number is (806) 589-3343.

What is a Handyman?

For some the word handyman conjures up many things.  Here is how the dictionary describes them…”a person able or employed to do occasional domestic repairs and minor renovations”.  A handyman is also known as a handyperson or handyworker.  He, or she is a person skilled at a wide range of repairs, typically around the home.

Home Pro Services of Dallas may have redefined the term.  Handyman to them means drywall installation, painting, plumbing, electrical, lock repair, bathroom remodeling, walls removed and installed, flooring installed, pest control, water damage, and much, much more.  The list is virtually endless!

Home Pro Services proudly serves DFW and the area with more than a dozen locations.  There really is no job too large or too small for Home Pro Services.  Because of their extensive workforce and multiple locations, you can call them 24 hours a day 7 days a week at (214) 886-3326 or throughout West Texas at (806) 589-3343.

If You’re Dreaming of a White Christmas…Dream On.

Let’s be realistic…it’s Dallas not Chicago.  A White Christmas is probably not in the cards.  Over the years in DFW some flurries have fallen in late December and most certainly ice storms have reared their ugly heads, but measurable snowfall around here is just simply a meteorological anomaly.

However, if you are holding out hope, as recently as 2009 a rare blizzard impacted Northern Texas.  As much as nine inches of snow fell in Jackson and Bowie!  For Dallas and Ft. Worth it was the first measurable Christmas Eve snowfall on record.

Whatever Christmas Day may bring to the Dallas Metro (the average high temperature is around 60 degrees).  We hope that you and yours will have the most Merry Christmas you have ever experienced.  In 2019 we at Home Pro Services will be here whenever you need us for repairs around your home or office.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Home Pro Services.

Repairing Dry Rot.

This is nasty business.  It even sounds bad, and make no mistake about it, it is!  Is dry rot dangerous to your health?  The spores that emanate from dry rot are not a health risk when considered on their own, BUT it is an indication of an underlying problem of excessive moisture which can be dangerous to you or your employee’s health.

Dry rot repair is ideal for areas of wood that have limited structural importance such as a window or door frames.  If you are dealing with beams or joists, then it is advisable that these should be replaced if dry rot is detected.  There are two common ways to repair it.  Either apply wood filler or cut out the rotted wood and replace it with a patch.

Doing this by yourself is possible for the handiest among us, but is that a prospect you wish to face especially if you own a business in the Metroplex?  Why not call the dry rot repair professionals at Home Pro Services?  They have proven over the years to be the Dallas area’s handymen extraordinaire.  Call Home Pro Services today at (214) 886-3326.
