Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Make me a Match.

Tevya step aside.  This is about matching existing textures when patching drywall.  There are different variables involved that will contribute to whether or not you can see the line of demarcation between a new drywall patch and the existing drywall texture which surrounds it.  Now, that takes a real matchmaker!

Here are a few tips for those that care to roll up their sleeves –

1.  Always use exactly the same thickness as the existing layer.
2.  Don’t coat too much of the existing texture.
3.  Remove the lines between the patch and the surrounding drywall texture.
4.  Use the same methods and tools that were used originally for exact duplication.

Unless you are a bit of a magician these steps sound WAY to hard, don’t they?  Not for Home Pro Services of Dallas they aren’t!  When you have done drywall texturing over and over hundreds of times you get pretty good at it.  Call Home Pro Services for your next drywall project at (214) 886-3326.
